As if the story wasn't funny enough by itself, Emperor Misha has to add commentary like this:

Profiling

I had to think long and hard about using that title, and about what section of thought I was going to lead off with. Conservative writers, (as if we could assume that everyone agreed on the definition; HA!), don't typically care if liberals or trolls (there can be a difference) read their material and actually think (I know, I know; liberals don't think, they FEEEEEEL). But I sometimes hold out the hope that someone might stumble across my blog and actually learn something.

What the hell. Here goes.

It seems that some loyal muslim decided life would be great in America. Apparently he did all the legal things and learned all the right stuff and now he has to step up and take that oath to actually become a real American citizen. But you see, that oath thing is bothering his conscience. I'm not just going to link to it. You need to read it and think about it.

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.

You know, we have some people running for POTUS that should have to take that oath under penalty of death. But I digress.

Yes, the muslim has to go seek guidance from the Imam, or really to get permission to recite such an oath. And what did the Imam say?

As Muslims, we are duty bound to follow our lives strictly according to Shari’ah. Whatever Shari’ah allows us to do, we will abide by that and whatever Shari’ah has restricted us from, we will refrain from it. Hence, we are not allowed to obey anybody if it is resulting in the disobedience of the Creator, Allah. Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, ‘There is no obedience for the creation by disobeying the Creator.’ (Mirqaat vol.7 pg.217; Imdadiyyah).

Hence, keeping this in mind if one is forced to sign the above in order to become a citizen or the only way of attaining citizenship is by acknowledging the above, then one may sign it with the intention that Shari’ah and Deen will always be his yardstick and that he will never sacrifice any of the teachings of Deen.

and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best

I don't mean to insult any intelligent readers, who BTW, are shaking their heads or pounding their fists and muttering obscenities; but for those of you who don't get it; the Imam is telling the follower of Mohammed (his name be cursed) that, "you just go ahead and lie your ass off and pretend to be a good little American, and when we publish another fatwah to go out and commit mass murder of the infidels, you be ready. Because no oath of allegiance ever supercedes your commitment to Sharia. Allah Akhbar!"

So, let's keep shaking down 90 year old grandmothers and two year old babies, and Marines in uniform and former Medal of Honor recipients at airports (yes it all is true; do a lexus-nexus). Let's not wake up to the fact that there are indeed people in this country who only recognize one supreme law and will subordinate everything else to their cause of conquering the world for "Allah."

Stupid Rules of War

I wrote to my two Senators and my congressman and POTUS about this very subject when the story became public weeks ago.

I said that as soon as terrorists or Sodamn Insane sympathizers got wind of it that it would cause immense and irreparable harm to our efforts to rebuild Iraq. Well, now we are reaping the fruit of that monstrous mistake.

Also, he has a quote from the Washington Times from LTC (Ret) Puckett, that ought to be a real eye opener to members of the "but we can't lower ourselves to their level (in itself an absurd claim, equating scaring a terrorist with feeding people to plastic shredders)"-brigades:

"All of the intelligence witnesses regularly expressed the fact that detainees bragged they know they don't have to talk because we can't do anything to them," attorney Neal Puckett said in an interview yesterday.

The lawyer said once the detainees are released, they spread the word among Saddam's followers that they can stay mum and not be punished.

I want some stupid JAG officer's head on a friggin' pike.
"The bad Iraqis are ID'd by human sources," said Mr. Puckett, who spent a week in Iraq investigating the case. "The Iraqis who are ID'd as bad guys and questioned all know we can't touch them. We can't even so much as threaten them."

...and, as a result, the fruits of our intelligence-gathering efforts approach nil, leading to more of our soldiers getting killed in attacks that could have been avoided, if only we didn't have our hands tied behind our backs by treasonous REMFs.

But what the heck, we get to feel really good about ourselves and how much better we are than them, and what can possibly be more important than FEEEEEEWINGS, right?

Tell that to the relatives of the soldiers that your masturbatory halo-polishing will get killed, why don't you, because I'm not interested.

Lunch Money

Maybe you've been picked on in school. Maybe you were extorted. If you never were, I could assume you were either a nice person and so well liked that everyone wanted to be your friend, or you were one of the bullies. Extortion can be for various reasons; "do my homework," "let me have the answers to the test," or "give me your lunch money." This last one has probably passed into obscurity, since so many kids are getting free lunches, courtesy of the taxpayer. Then again, vending machines and poor parenting are allowing for a lot of ridiculous discretionary cash in the hands of children. But that's another post.

How do you deal with a bully? What is true in the microcosm of personal, everyday living is often true on the grand international scale. This is because governments are controlled by someone or some group of people. Human nature doesn't change due to one's position or status. A thief without education or resources is a mugger or shoplifter. A thief with an MBA is a Tyco executive. A thief who gets elected is usually a democrat. A murderer who is poor might go to jail. (FBI stats show only 50% of murders are ever solved) A murderer with political power might live like royalty, such as: Robert Mugabe,Ted Kennedy, Kim Jong Il, Adolph Hitler, Tojo, Caucescue, the latter three being forcefully stopped.

And that's the point. Bullies will continue to be bullies unless compelled to stop. I addressed this partly in my previous post titled Pen vs. Sword.

Think seriously about this when you go to the voting booth. I know I've expressed my problems with voting for Bush because of his domestic policies, but can we afford for any one of the naive nine to take control and then cut and run, reinforcing the view to our enemies that we have no stomach for war? Challenge me. Make me think. Should I risk voting once again for the Constitution Party rather than for Dumbocrat Lite?
